① The yield strength is relatively low (generally 0.5 to 0.65), which is not only easy to process, but also has a high elongation second only to TRIP steel.

② The strain is concentrated in the low-strength ferrite phase, giving it a unique high work hardening rate, especially in the low strain area (2% ~ 3%), the yield strength increases quickly (140 ~ 220MPa) - relatively High initial transient n value.

③No yield extension and no aging.

④ It has baking hardening characteristics (up to 30~150MPa).

Classification

The strength of DP steel increases as the proportion of harder martensite increases. Dual-phase steels with different strength levels and different yield-strength ratios (YS/TS) can be produced according to the purpose. Its products are divided into 490, 590, 780 and 980MPa levels based on tensile strength values.
