3000kva -3.3 KV VPI dry type transformer completed

Transformer description:

3000kva 3.3kV VPI dry type motor step-down starting transformer. The primary side voltage is 3.3 kV, and the secondary side output voltages are 2.475, 2.145, and 1.815 kV respectively. The vector group is Ya0III, the coil is warped with H-grade Nomex paper that can withstand high temperatures of 220 degrees, and each phase is equipped with PT100.

What is VPI Dry Type Transformer:

VPI transformers are a new construction concept suitable for installations requiring special attention to the environment and the use of the least flammable materials.

Windings below 1.1kv use continuous layers of foil or tape; for higher voltages, the windings consist of disks connected in series or parallel, depending on the voltage or power of the winding.

Insulation can be Class F or Class H, impregnated with Class H polyester resin

All air insulation products contain less flammable substances and less resin solutions than oil solutions.

Transformers immersed in air are suitable not only for power distribution but also for any type of special application (such as resin transformers). There are no special restrictions on the insulation level, but it is generally not used for levels higher than 36kv.

There are 3 taps on the secondary side, which are 55%, 65%, and 75% respectively, and 3 different output voltages can be obtained.
