SPCC Steel

SPCC was originally the name of "cold-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips for general use" in the Japanese Standard (JIS). The chemical composition and mechanical properties of PCC are equivalent to Chinese brands Q195 and Q215A. When it is necessary to ensure the tensile test, add T at the end of the grade to indicate SPCCT.

What Is SPCC Steel?
SPCC —- Cold rolled steel sheet and strip of commercial quality;
SPHC —- Hot rolled steel sheet and strip of commercial quality;
SPCD — Cold rolled steel sheet and strip of drawing quality, which is equivalent to St13/14, DC03/04;
SPCE — Cold rolled steel sheet and strip of deep drawing quality. It similar codes are St15/16, DC05/06;
SPHD —- Hot rolled steel sheet and strip of drawing quality;
SGCC —- Hot dip galvanized cold rolled steel of commercial quality. The first part represents the material, such as: S (Steel) represents steel, F (Ferrum) represents iron.
The second part represents different shapes, types, and uses. For example, P (Plate) represents plate, T (Tube) represents tube, and K (Kogu) represents tool.
The third part indicates the production method, and C is the abbreviation of cold rolling.
The fourth part represents the minimum tensile strength. C——Common grade, D——Draw grade, E——Deep drawing grade (Elongation)

When the product thickness is >1.50mm and ≤2.0mm, the value of r90 or r is allowed to be reduced by 0.1 (absolute value); when the thickness is >2.0mm, the value of r90 or r is allowed to be reduced by 0.2 (absolute value).

Classification
1.4 Applicable grades for Japanese cold-rolled carbon steel sheets: SPCC, SPCD, SPCE Symbols: S-steel (Steel), P-plate (Plate), C-cold-rolled (cold), the fourth digit C-common grade (common) , D- stamping grade (Draw), E- deep drawing grade (Elongation)
Heat treatment status: A-annealed, S-annealed + flat, 8-(1/8) hard, 4-(1/4) hard, 2-(1/2) hard, 1-hard .
Drawing performance level: ZF - used for punching and drawing the most complex parts, HF - used for punching and drawing complex parts, F - used for punching and drawing complex parts.
Surface processing status: D - pitted surface (the roll is shot peened after being processed by a grinder), B - bright surface (the roll is finished by a grinder).
Surface quality: FC-high-grade finished surface, FB-higher-grade finished surface. Status, surface processing status, surface quality code, drawing level (only for SPCE), product specifications and dimensions, shape accuracy (thickness and/or width, length, unevenness).
Marking example: steel plate, standard number Q/BQB402, grade SPCC, heat treatment state annealed + smooth (S), surface processing state is pitted D, surface quality is FB grade trimmed (trimmed edge EC, non-trimmed EM) steel plate , thickness 0.5mm, B-level accuracy, width 1000mm, A-level accuracy, length 2000mm, A-level accuracy, unevenness accuracy PF.A, then the mark is: steel plate ECQ/BQB 402-SPCC-SD-FB/(0.5B ×1000A×2000A-PF.A)

spcc uses:
1. Used in the production of steel structure parts, bridges, ships and vehicles.
2. Adding special elements (P, Cu, C, etc.), it has good corrosion resistance and atmospheric corrosion resistance. It is used in the production of containers, special vehicles, and building structures.
3. High-strength steel plate with good stamping performance and welding performance, used in the production of automobile FRAME, WHEEL, etc.
4. Carbon steel, alloy steel, and tool steel are used for general mechanical structures and are used in the production of various mechanical parts after heat treatment.
