GNEE STEEL Expands Galvanized Steel Supply

With the rapid acceleration of global carbon reduction initiatives, the renewable energy sector — including solar power, wind power and energy storage infrastructure — is driving a new wave of demand for high-performance galvanized steel materials. In response to this trend, GNEE STEEL has recently completed multiple large-volume deliveries of galvanized steel coils and galvanized structural components for photovoltaic (PV) and wind-energy projects across Europe, Southeast Asia and South America. The successful execution of these contracts further strengthens GNEE STEEL’s position as a reliable materials supplier in the green energy industry.

Galvanized steel has become a preferred material for renewable energy facilities due to its outstanding corrosion resistance, long-term durability, and excellent mechanical properties in outdoor and coastal environments. PV support systems, wind turbine tower components, cable tray systems, substation structures and energy storage modules commonly use galvanized steel with zinc coatings ranging from Z180 to Z450, and in extreme climates up to Z600. GNEE STEEL has continuously expanded its product capacity in these segments to meet the increasing demand for long-life, low-maintenance infrastructure.

In Q4, GNEE STEEL successfully shipped more than 4,300 tons of galvanized steel coils, sheets and structural profiles to three large solar-farm EPC contractors in Europe and Southeast Asia. According to customer feedback, the materials delivered demonstrated excellent anti-corrosion performance, stable tensile strength, and superior weldability, ensuring smooth progress of on-site installation and high operational efficiency. In South America, another major distributor placed repeated orders for S350GD + Z materials used in solar tracker systems, citing exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and cost advantages compared with alternative materials.

To better serve renewable energy projects with different geographical requirements, GNEE STEEL provides a wide range of customized specifications, including:

  • Zinc coating range Z40 – Z600

  • Coil thickness 0.18 mm – 6.0 mm

  • Coil width 600 mm – 1,500 mm

  • Surface options regular spangle / zero spangle / skin-passed / chromated / oiled / anti-fingerprint

  • Optional deep-processing services including slitting, cutting, punching, and component fabrication
